That December, re: mix traced some of the music of popular culture and examined how they had become the "standards" of today. As a collaborative project with local composer Kelly Tang, re: mix explored the music of Nat King Cole, Teresa Tang, and music that was increasingly known today as Shanghai Jazz. re: mix also performed selections from Peter Breiner's Baroque Beatles. |
