Following re: mix's successful sold-out inaugural concert the previous year, film/music saw re: mix's exploration of soundtracks that gave the audience a specific memory of films through variations of music. These included constant replay of a particular scene, mood, or gesture of a film; music that created another film and new images; and also music that do not belong to any movie soundtrack but already suggests a (future) film in itself.

re: mix's playlist included soundtracks from films such as 2046, Psycho, Godfather 3, In the Mood for Love, Friday Night, and other surprises.
